![]() I’ll admit that this came at the absolute best time because I’ve recently been going down a sapphic summer high school spiral, which serves to make me feel almost uncomfortably introspective and really giddy at the same time. I’ve been dying to get my hands on this for at least half a year now and I definitely wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. This probably was probably my most anticipated 2020 release. My heart is just so incredibly warm and fuzzy right now- the perfect feeling when I’ve just finished an incredible contemporary. The only problem is that no plan in the way of feelings is foolproof, least of all when they’re recreating scenes straight out of movies of people falling in love. She can’t seem to resist, though, when she meets Ruby, so she hatches a deal to have the perfect romcom falling in love montage, and sets the rule for herself that nothing real can be involved in their relationship, which they plan to end when they part ways at the end of the summer, no strings attached, no heartbreak. ![]() ![]() ![]() Saoirse doesn’t believe in love, or at least she doesn’t have time for it and the heartbreak it inevitably brings in her life.
